Don't know if I'd call it "nice" but Microsoft Movie Maker works and it might already be installed on your computer if you have xp sp2 installed...

It is remarkably easy, I've never used any video editing software before and made this movie:

http://files.filefront.com/Monk_Mirr.../fileinfo.html

I liked the way it broke up my raw fraps footage and the way you could switch between storyboard and realtime...

MM is ok for free, but you can only save as wmv files and you have no control over screen size either. But you can't beat the free animated titles, they even have the Star Wars crawl.

One question I have. How are you maintaining video quality without a huge file size?

The fraps file was big, but when MM saves it it compresses it for you. Not sure what codec it used...
